A very interesting piece of early Science Fiction -- masquerading as speculative science -- on the subject of our purported Martian neighbors, from the February 8th 1920 edition of the New York Tribune. A surprisingly colorful and Utopian counterpoint to the Wellesian vision of interplanetary relations. Taken from the Library of Congress website; edited by Timothy J. Hamilton. Minor edits include normalizing, shrinking the image by one half, and slightly blurring the central illustration. Image was then recompressed as a high quality Jpeg.
